Description The Asset Protection Specialist is overall responsible for deterring various forms of financial loss caused by theft, fraud, and process deficiency. In this role you will take extreme ownership of store shrink results and conduct highly sensitive investigations related to both associate and vendor dishonesty. This position may lead a small team of direct reports while using various investigative tools and techniques to better our stores. Day to day responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Reviewing CCTV surveillance for theft / fraud by associates, vendors, and customers Reconciling exception-based reports designed to identify fraud / theft Initiating & reconciling dishonesty investigations Monitoring physical security Preparing & reviewing key performance indicator audits (KPI) Creating a culture of 'shrink elimination' Recommending & implementing store policy Collaborating with law enforcement agencies to report or investigate crimes Training of store personnel in Asset Protection activities Comprehensive knowledge of store operations Qualifications: 1-3 years prior Asset Protection / Loss Prevention experience Effective leadership, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Sound judgement/problem solving and decision making skills Benefits: 401k with up to 6% of pay match Health/Vision and Dental Insurance Flexible schedule needed - typically scheduled in the AM with 2 days a week mid-shift and/or closing shift.
