Apple is looking for a multifaceted, highly motivated Business Manager to join the Worldwide Product Marketing (WWPM) Business Management and Finance team to support iPad Hardware, and Earnings Support. As the iPad Business Manager, you will provide roadmap decision support (pricing & margins, feature arbitration, product line-up scenarios), own demand forecasting and lead business & financial analysis for a wide range of business cases and special projects. On Earnings Support, you will help frame the product & customer narrative for the CFO and CEO. This person needs to have strong leadership skills, exceptional business / product acumen, superior analytical capabilities and financial / quantitative horsepower, outstanding verbal and written communication skills and a deep interest in Apple's products, business and strategy. The Business Manager partners with various groups, manages extremely confidential information, has direct exposure to senior leadership and is in a position to influence key strategic decisions at Apple. Key Qualifications Minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience with demonstrated progression and growth in responsibilities Strong eye for business and products, high intellectual curiosity, and deep interest in Apple's hardware products, business and strategy Ease with quantitative and financial analysis in a product context; able to work comfortably with incomplete information and dealing with ambiguity Excellent interpersonal skills; Highly motivated, works well in a high paced environment, is organized, and proactive in leading projects from end-to-end Outstanding verbal and written business communication skills Sharp attention to detail with the ability to maintain the highest level of accuracy, yet understand the big picture Strong team player Superior Excel, Tableau & modeling skills Description Lead and develop a high-performing team that is responsible for iPad Business Management, and Earnings Support. On iPad Business Management, collaborate with Product Marketing, Hardware Engineering, Market Research, Data Science, Operations and Sales to find optimal intersections of relevant information to drive and support business and roadmap decisions involving pricing, features and product line-ups. On Earnings Support, collaborate with Data Science, Investor Relations & Hardware Business Management to define the product and customer narrative every quarter. Oversee development of analytical frameworks and creation of Executive review outputs (slide decks, memos) for various deliverables. Guide the team to formulate, architect, and build demand forecasts & financial models for hardware products and licensing revenue based on a wide range of information available. Mentor the team to integrate various datasets to create, present, and defend demand forecasts, scenarios, and other business insights to senior leadership. Support Executive decisions related to revenue/gross margin scenarios and product lifecycle planning. Challenge & validate customer demand signals based on deep understanding of customer, product and market. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or other quantitative field; MBA is desirable
