Job description

The Client Relationship Manager will manage clients during the setup and conversion process and provide ongoing support for new and existing institutional relationships or new/additional products and services. How you'll spend your time: 路 Developing and managing ongoing client relationships. 路 Establishing and cultivating deep networks of influential contacts within the client organizations. 路 Advocating for clients' strategic objectives to enhance their view of the UMB organization. 路 Delivering a consultative approach to cross-sell strategies for existing client portfolios, marshaling sales and product management experts as needed. 路 Driving business expansion activities designed to achieve consistent year-over-year revenue growth. 路 Possessing strong technical and operational acumen to facilitate the identification of product solutions based on client needs. 路 Exhibiting an executive presence (poised, professional & polished) to lead and participate in high-level meetings with internal and external senior executives. 路 Supporting clients on an ongoing basis with product development assistance, problem escalation, and special projects (e.g., system testing and development). 路 Collaborating with other lines of business and sales officers to integrate institutional products advantageous to existing clients of UMB. 路 Assisting in the preparation of UMB senior executives for meetings with information regarding clients & the relationship when needed. 路 Assisting the business development team in producing product collateral material for new prospects. 路 Assisting business development in closing opportunities by providing subject matter expertise and creative solutions to client needs. 路 Other duties as assigned. We're excited to talk with you if: 路 You have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience. 路 You have at least 3 years of sales or relationship management experience. 路 You can demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel (or comparable packages), Access, and PowerPoint. 路 You can demonstrate the ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 路 You can demonstrate strategic thinking and the ability to synthesize information and effectively communicate the relevant details to the respective audience, both verbally and in written form (high articulacy). 路 You can demonstrate a high level of analytical ability to drive results and proactively manage multiple priorities. This position will be a REMOTE/HYBRID opportunity for qualified candidates in the Kansas City metro area with a minimum of 1 to 2 days a week in the office or as needed each week to maintain job responsibilities. Compensation Range: Minimum: $60,795.00 - Mid Point: $86,835.00 The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB鈥檚 standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors. In addition, this range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
