Job description

Position SummaryThe Maintenance Inventory Coordinator will manage and coordinate the inventory of all store room supplies and repair parts for the facility.This position is responsible for the proper and timely receiving of all stock and non-stock parts as well as consumables.Position responsibilities include, but not limited to + Coordinate activities with operations and maintenance to ensure adequate operating supplies are maintained in the stockroom while issuing parts on a timely basis as required + Offer recommendations on stock levels, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and identify potential problem areas + Manage cycle counting program and other ongoing continuous improvement objectives + Maintain Min/Max inventory levels with input from the Technical planner and area managers + Ensure that procurement documentation and records are properly kept and updated on a timely basis + Interface with all departments to ensure timely receiving and delivery as well as storage of spare parts and all consumable products + Utilize a computerized maintenance system (CMMS) for history and parts inventory + Ensure all company safety procedures are followed daily by all team members to prevent injury or accidents on the job + Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained + Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety + Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Required skills and experience + High school diploma or equivalent + 2 years inventory experience + Must be able to read and interpret documents and translate the data into a computerized inventory control system + Intermediate computer skills -- Microsoft Office experience + Basic math and measurement conversion skills + High level of organizational ability and attention to detail in order to process received goods properly and store those items in their proper location + Will be required to become certified on forklift and pallet jacks + Must possess good written and verbal communication skills + Ability to work with outside vendors and internal maintenance team members + Good customer service skills to work with both the internal/external customers + Demonstrated commitment to following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other food safety rules Preferred skills and experience + Maintenance knowledge/experience + SAP experience + Forklift and/or pallet jack certification **Company Overview** Mom's Meals is a home-delivered meal service providing fully prepared, refrigerated meal solutions direct to homes nationwide for over 18 years.
