Manager, Software Development & Engineering with Charles Schwab & Company, Inc. (Westlake, TX): Manage transition of business requirements to technical requirements through deep understanding of client need. Design a solution that will adhere to coding best practices, security, scalability and business need. Develop and coach others in that development of code to meet need and Validation code meets need via continuous feedback loop with business partners. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related role. Alternatively, employer will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Skills: Experience and/or education must include the following: Design and develop enterprise level applications within the Java and Spring frameworks; Work with Data Structures, build tables and the framework, and most importantly solving business issues and find data nuances within the data to isolate errors; Create enterprise level validation strategies which combine technical and business requirements to ensure use cases are satisfied, while also looking for edge cases; Experience within the Agile framework, reporting and strong communication of complex technical topics to a business audience, gaining buy-in and approval; and Financial Billing Experience to allow to build custom test strategies to meet the needs of the business.
