Job description
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops social media content and email marketing and coordinates deployment.
Manages and responds to all social Media comments, inquiries on a continuous basis.
Responds to all property reviews and inquiries daily.
Responds quickly to comments on all social platforms.
Responsible for all digital content and creatives.
Update and monitor all social and website platforms.
Coordinate with outside vendors on promotion needs for executing on-site promotional events.
Work with cross-functional departments within the property on promotional support.
Submit invoices for payment, track and report status to ensure timely payment for vendors.
Work with team on logo design/direction.
Proof read promotional materials that go to public view.
Coordinates with the Food and Beverage and other departments on a regular basis to support their social media marketing needs and promotions.
Designs, develops, and maintains website content.
Design in House collateral.
Responsible for reporting and analysis of marketing campaigns as assigned.
Assist with sponsorship and charitable contributions projects as assigned
Support of emcee drawings, giveaways and special events via microphone system to both small and large live audiences.
Promote the highest degree of quality guest service, both internally and externally.
Develops and builds relationships with guests through excellent interpersonal skills and exception guest service.
Provide information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to guests.
Flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE Ability to work in a fast paced environment and interact with internal departments.
Understand and represent Derby City Gaming’s image and reputation both at work and at external functions.
Oral and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or similar and/or three years of experience in the field preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years gaming experience preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid racing license.
