Millerbernd Manufacturing is continuing to grow and expand our workforce here in Winsted, MN. We are adding a Production Planner to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging people and systems to organize data into achievable production schedules. This role is Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm. As a Production Planner, you will: + Develop, maintain and communicate department production schedule. + Monitor labor reporting and earned hours against stated target. + Proactively contribute to tier meetings. + Monitor WIP inventory levels at key production checkpoints. + Collaborate with operations leadership to review, analyze and adjust production schedules. + Team with department planners to notify of schedule changes. + Participate in continuous improvement activities. + Validate accuracy of issuing material within ERP system. + Analyze material demand and supply to signal procurement regards needs and shortages + Assist and support Scheduling Manager as required Qualifications for a Production Planner include: + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment. + Prior planning experience in a manufacturing setting. + Proficient in MS Office suite + Experience with MRP/ERP, EPICOR preferred + Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills. + Ability to collect and analyze data to make decisions to support department production targets + APICS certification and understanding of SIOP preferred Why Millerbernd and Who We Are: We strive to create the best opportunities for our employees.
