The Sr. Director, Global Human Resources Services is a critical role overseeing the supporting the strategic planning, development, and delivery of Global HR services within Diversified. The position reports to the Chief People Officer. The role focuses on providing leadership and direction to a centralized Global HR service team, ensuring effective and efficient HR service delivery, and enhancing the overall employee experience. This centralized team is the first point of contact for employees and managers. The team is responsible for administrating the transactions for day-to-day request and inquires. The individual will be a trusted resource and partner for leadership to support and align the business's vision, mission, and overall objectives with Diversified's talent strategies. What will you be doing? Strategic HR Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Global HR Services function. Develop and execute the overall Global HR tiered service strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. HR Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Global HR Services function, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. Develop and implement standardized processes, procedures, and service-level agreements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. HR Service Delivery: Ensure high-quality delivery of HR services to associates, managers, and HR business partners. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of HR service delivery. HR Technology and Systems: Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of HR technology systems, such as HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and self-service portals. Ensure systems are optimized to support Global HR service delivery and enable efficient associate and manager self-service. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external HR service providers, including HR outsourcing or shared services providers. Monitor vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements. Process Improvement and Optimization: Continuously evaluate HR processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and optimization. Streamline processes, eliminate redundancies, and enhance the user experience for employees and managers. HR Data Analysis: Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making. Analyze workforce trends, service metrics, and customer satisfaction metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and inform business strategies. Proactively partners across Diversified's HR team to make recommendations for programs and other enhancements. HR Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Mitigate HR-related risks and ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations. Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR Services budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources. Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and make recommendations for budget adjustments as needed. What do we require from you? A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees such as an MBA or a master's in Human Resources Management is preferred. Relevant certifications such as PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional) preferred. 10+ years' experience in HR leadership roles, with a demonstrated progression of increasing responsibility. Experience managing HR services, HR operations, or shared services is required. Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align HR Services strategies with organizational goals and drive business outcomes. Understanding of the organization's industry, market dynamics, and business drivers. Deep understanding of HR operations, service delivery models, and HR service best practices. Familiarity with HR technology systems and self-service portals. Strong process improvement and optimization skills. Experience streamlining HR processes, automating manual tasks, and enhancing service delivery efficiency. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to establish trust, collaborate effectively, and influence stakeholders at all levels within the business unit. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, build relationships, and influence outcomes. Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams, manage resources, and drive performance. Excellent people management, coaching, and development abilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to analyze HR data, identify trends, and propose solutions to address business and people-related challenges. Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to HR operations. Ability to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with HR service delivery. Demonstrates deep understanding of the business strategy, overarching people and culture strategies and objectives. Commitment to innovation and continuous improvement. Ability to work effectively across multiple geographies and partners.
