A client in the Lewisville, Texas area is looking for a Staff Accountant. This person will be reporting directly to the Accounting Supervisor and will be responsible for certain accounting and compliance functions for the company. This person will be responsible for the accuracy and timely completion of all accounting functions. Hours of operation will be M-F from 8AM to 5PM, however are open to those wanting to start earlier or later (latest 9AM). Side-by-side training will be provided over the course of several month ends. A Covid-19 vaccination is not required for this role, but must be open to wearing a mask when away from desk. This role is currently an onsite role. The team is a collaborative group and team size of 30 total. Accountants will be responsible for books of about 20-30 accounts to support. Responsibilities: Prepare monthly journal entries to record such items as prepaid expenses, accruals, amortizations, depreciation, note interest, subsidiary revenue reporting and revenue reserves Analyze balance sheet accounts, revenue and expenses and explain variances Prepare monthly Financial Reports Reconcile balance sheet accounts Support integration of acquisitions Integrate acquisitions into the financial accounting process Coordinate banking information appropriately Support the annual financial audit process and special audits during the year Experience working with Great Plains Experience working with Blackline, for balance sheet reconciliation Prior healthcare indusrty exposure Ability to create macros in Excel Bachelors Degree in either Accounting or Finance Ideally 2+ years of recent / relevant Accounting experience Intermediate Excel experience must know how to create pivot tables and VLOOKUPS
