Job Description
Intel's Datacenter Processor Architecture team is a talented group of architects responsible for developing the overall datacenter compute solutions strategy as well as the architecture for the next generation of Intel Xeon and Intel Atom server products. This organization is seeking a highly skilled Computer Architect with first-hand experience with datacenter deployments as well as a deep understanding of both processor hardware interfaces and software algorithms.
This person will be responsible for working across many different teams and specialties co-architecting the interfaces between hardware and firmware, between firmware agents and the software interfaces up through orchestration, operating system and application layers. The role spans domains such as device configuration, datacenter manageability, reset, boot, debug, power management, security, RAS, etc.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Computer Architect, you will be in a critical leadership role with the following responsibilities:
Set the strategic vision for the development of interfaces between hardware and firmware, firmware agents, and software interfaces across orchestration, operating system, and application layers.
Lead teams across various domains such as device configuration, datacenter manageability, reset, boot, debug, power management, security, RAS, and more.
Shape the future of Cloud, Enterprise, and AI/ML solutions by architecting full-stack solutions that span across Silicon, Firmware, Software, and Application layers.
Drive strategic initiatives in collaboration with Design, firmware, and software teams, aiming for substantial enhancements in the quality of end-to-end solutions.
Emphasize an agile and efficient development process, aiming to reduce the number of bugs discovered and significantly improve execution velocity.
Develop and implement robust architectures, tools, and methods that enable more thorough validation of solutions early in the development process, setting a standard for excellence within your team.
Forge stronger relationships with our customers and industry partners, positioning Intel's solutions as industry-leading into the next generation of computing.
Motivate, guide, and mentor your team to implement your strategic vision, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
10+ years' experience in SoC architecture, design and validation experience in semiconductor industry.
Familiarity with datacenter deployment challenges and solutions, software development practices, silicon debug, profiling and other analysis and testing techniques is strongly preferred.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $180,270.00-$288,770.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
