Job Summary:
Assist with the repair, construction, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of routine electrical systems and equipment
Essential Duties: Main purpose of job (List primary duties that occupy a majority of incumbent time in order of importance.)
Adhere to safe work practices when lifting, climbing ladders, working in high voltage areas (logout/tagout), confined spaces, etc.
Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices by making suggestions for improvement.
Comply with all Policies and Procedures, especially in the areas of burns, cutting, electrical Hot Work and logout/tagout, confined spaces, etc.
Operate service vehicles to deliver parts, supplies in performance of regular job & after hour responsibilities. Practice safe driving habits and adhere to traffic regulations.
Ability to work afterhours during on call rotation, respond to emergency calls, inclement weather, planned Electrical shutdowns, unplanned events and be a member of the essential personnel of the Mechanical team.
Follow QA (Quality Assurance) to include GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and SOPs and all safety procedures
Assist with the repair, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Install, repair, or replace breakers, fuses, switches, light bulbs, transformers, brackets, hangers, conduits inverters, electrical and electronic components and wires.
Ability to maintain electrical systems (generator, transfer switches, switchgear, electrical, fire alarm systems, lighting, elevator, emergency lighting, and/or light control system) and components to locate problems and correct them.
Ability to maintain malfunctioning security systems (security gates, camera & card access) and components to locate problems and correct them.
Assist with disassembling motors, generators, and other equipment in preparation for repair.
Assist electrician with installation of electrical systems per drawings, specifications, schematics and manufacturers manuals.
Maintain knowledge of local and safety codes and corporate safety program, manufacturer's specifications.
Education & Experience Requirements
Job Requirements are a combination of qualifications and related experience. Judgment of an acceptable equivalent combination, on an individual basis, is the responsibility of Management.
High School Diploma and 3 years of experience.

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to work during adverse weather conditions as an essential employee.
Ability to obtain proper security clearances as noted by contracts.
Maintain a valid driver's license
Must be able to work in confined spaces, on different height roofs and may need to climb ladders and scaffolds
Understand electrical systems, read blueprints, and schematics
