As an Electrician, you'll work closely with our installation and plumbing teams. You'll perform residential service work, no new construction. You're great at working on your own, but you also love getting to work with a team! One of the best feelings in the world to you is feeling useful. You'll be interacting with clients who have been dealing with broken air conditioners, furnaces, and various other home comfort equipment. They're making a big investment! It's important that you're good at communicating with clients when they're stressed out. You can help them see they're in good hands and you're here to help save the day! When you're a Service Legends Electrician, you'll be valued for the talent you bring!
Essential Job Functions
Install, reconnect, and upgrade electrical service to heating and air conditioning equipment, as well as water heaters
Serve clients by analyzing work orders, following a daily travel schedule, listening to client concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems
Maintain your truck inventory
Troubleshoot & diagnose residential electrical issues
Provide the best customer service possible to our clients
Adhere to local and state codes
Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems
Drive company vehicle to and from each assigned job
Identify, repair, or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using testing devices, and various tools after presenting options to the client
You'll maintain high client satisfaction rating and promote Service Legends' maintenance membership program
Essential Job Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to adequately perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 3 years of electrical experience
2 years of customer service experience or residential service work
Ability to obtain and use various hand and power tools common to trade
Ability to use an iPad for taking notes, presenting options to the client, and various business needs
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to compute basic mathematical functions related to the trade
Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language
The ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc.
Journeyman License ($2,500 Sign On Bonus)
Previous experience leading a team
Experience in residential service work highly preferred, but we will train the right candidate
Possess all necessary tools to fulfill job duties
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
Experience in performing routine manual labor
The ability to follow routine, verbal, and written instructions
Being capable of maintaining professional working relationships with team members
Compensation & Hours:
Starting wage of $28.05 – $45.00/per hour + Bonus & Spiffs
Sign On Bonus: $2,500 with Journeyman License
Relocation Assistance Available
Annual profit-sharing bonus based on company performance
Potential to make over $145,000 annually based on selling and negotiation skills
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm (depending on business needs)
