ROLE SUMARY:
The People Coordinator will collaborate with other HR professionals to support various policies, programs, and processes. They will serve as a valued resource and help managers and employees with general HR questions. The People Coordinator will provide diverse administrative support to the People team and utilize tools and technology to improve processes that better serve our internal partners, managers, and employees. They will support recruitment, pre-boarding, on-boarding and orientation of new hires, and maintains our attendance program in collaboration with managers.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN:
- Greets employees within department, providing a positive and professional first point of contact.
- Assists employees in problem solving, communication, scheduling time, referrals and other requests and supports the People Team and employees with day-to-day needs.
- Provides recruiting support by scheduling interviews, coordinating strengths assessments, and setting up materials and meeting areas for interview team.
- Sets up and tracks new hires for pre-screening element
- Provides Orientation support including scheduling, coordination and communication of connections, timeclock registration, locker assignment, the ordering of uniforms, and other similar new hire assignments.
- Management of the attendance tracking system within the HRIS platform including the creation of all warnings in the progressive discipline system, tracking and documentation in collaboration with supervisors and managers.
- Partners with supervisors to maintain time tracking system to ensure employee timekeeping is accurate and up to date.
- Manages electronic training, evaluations, and certification documentation for all employees. Receives, scans, uploads, and archives in personnel files for compliance.
- Using company HRIS and document management tools, maintains, and implements initiatives to ensure accurate, timely and consistent documentation and record keeping.
- Responsible for management of and safeguarding sensitive, confidential, employee information.
- Assist management with special projects and perform other duties as assigned and aligned with strengths and desired career development.
WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree, ideal
- 2+ years of experience in an office setting, preferably in Human Resources or with interaction with HR and/or training departments
- Experience with office administration and reception activities
- Experience working in a professional work environment with confidential documentation
- Proficiency in technology; MS Office Suite and HRIS, preferably ADP
- Experience in organizing, storing, and/or analyzing data
