The Senior Manager of International Accounting will oversee the accounting of international entities, assist with the month end close, preparing financial statements, and will also be responsible for researching and implementing new accounting policies. Responsibilities and Duties of the Senior Manager of International Accounting:

  • Responsible for all accounting for international entities. This responsibility includes focus on foreign exchange accounting, inter-company accounting and reconciliation, translation, elimination, and consolidation.
  • Ensure month, quarter, and year-end closes are completed on a timely basis in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS and Company policies and procedures.
  • Interface with external auditors for annual audits, including preparation of required schedules and documentation.
  • Assist with technical accounting research and evaluation in a variety of areas, work cross functionally to ensure appropriate treatment and prepare memos and analysis supporting conclusions.
  • Facilitate/coordinate the process of implementing new standards and accounting changes to ensure the Company is prepared to comply at the necessary time.
  • Participate in special projects or ad-hoc analysis in support of finance department and company initiatives.
  • Manage and develop a staff

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will be a broad-based financial professional with strong academic credentials and successful leadership experience in the finance and accounting operations areas of a complex company, preferably in the technology and/or digital media sectors.

  • 6+ years progressive accounting experience
  • CPA
  • IFRS knowledge
  • B.S. in Accounting
