Underground Coal Miner / Fireboss
JENNMAR Services, a staffing company specializing in employee placement for the energy industry, is seeking Firebosses for the Prosperity and Waynesburg, PA areas. Position may help with Black Hat jobs as well.
$37/hour
Position prerequisites:
- PA Foreman or Assistant Foreman Certification.
- Up-to-date annual refresher.
- Previous experience firebossing.
- Valid driver's license.

Job Responsibilities:
- Examining the surface and underground work areas of the mine including airways, bleeders, and belts.
- Identifying hazardous conditions including roof, dust, gas, and equipment.
- Checking and recording gas readings in proper books.
- Conducting pre-shift and on shift examinations.
- Other duties assigned.
