Our experts – engineers, technicians, and scientists build and maintain world class manufacturing processes and production sites, provide quality assurance and quality control to meet regulatory standards, and the needed goods and services to support manufacturing for our products.
SUMMARY:
- VP, Capital Planning and Real Estate will be responsible for providing strategy and direction for this growing corporate function. The VP will be responsible for directing and controlling the activities of the Strategic Facility Planning Process, Capital Portfolio Management for all Production campuses, planning and design and PM Practices, Corporate Engineering Standards. Develop Specifications as well as the development of the global capital long range plan.
- The VP will also be responsible for capital investment and business processes to ensure proper evaluation, cross-functional review and decision-making related of global capital investments.
- The VP in conjunction with the Executives are responsible in building a global engineering community that fosters the Engineering community, oversees global cross functional initiatives and best practices, and facilitates cross functional engineering talent review.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the identification, review, and evaluation of strategic capital initiatives (lab, office, manufacturing) to support the Corporate Strategy and present scenario options and recommendations for review/approval by senior management.
- Lead his/her function to ensure successful planning of corporate capital projects and useful reporting to senior management, including preparing for and facilitating the Strategic Capital Investment Planning process.
- Drive the Long-Range Plan (LRP) process to establish goals, objectives, and deliverables for the future of the manufacturing & engineering organization.
- Maintain oversight accountability for the global Real Estate process that include acquisitions and divestitures, lease management including coordination of global tenant improvement plans
- Ensure effective management of all CAPEX projects related to our international offices and ensure a healthy relationship (strategic alliance) is maintained with associated service providers.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree
Most likely an MBA in a related Business Field
Prior Biotech, Pharma or Engineering Capital Planning stakeholder experience
