Position Overview:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for all aspects of pallet handing in the warehouse, including full pallet mission, storage of truck reception, transfers, replenishment and entering appropriate data as needed into system.
Requirements
Responsible for all aspects of food safety and quality, as applicable and defined in plant and department procedures
Accurately pick SKU and quantity of product cases with handheld scanner
Assemble stable pallets according to customer specifications
Wrap pallets, print pallet labels and adhere to pallets
Bring finished pallet to assigned location in the Warehouse
Operate power industrial equipment as needed
Replenish pick bays
Validate factory reception
Store product in assigned bin location
Maintain a clean working area
Qualifications
Well organized and detail oriented
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills preferred
Uses time efficiently
Prior stand-up fork lift experience preferred
Requires the ability to flex schedule as needed to meet business demands, including nights and/or weekends
Prior experience operating an electric pallet jack preferred
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
Ability to operate in a team environment
Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
Work Schedule:
We run 10 hour shifts – 3:30pm to 2:00am
Week 1: Sat – Off, Sun – work, Mon – work, Tues – work, Wed – work Thurs – Off, Fri – Off
