Job Description

As the Data Analyst & Business Intelligence Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing data analytics for reporting on operational performance and driving improvements across the services ISS delivers.

This role will embed the use of insights to shape services, ensuring transparency and collaboration across the account. Your work will directly contribute to continuous service improvement, self-assurance, and governance.

You will be responsible for translating data into valuable, actionable insights that enable operational teams to focus on service delivery. This will include streamlining reporting processes through automation and creating efficient, visually compelling dashboards that minimise administrative workload.

Key Responsibilities

Account Subject Matter Expert for data and reporting
Own the of production periodic reports on Key Performance Indicators performance, attending key governance meetings to present account performance
Specify and control the production and output of Management Information
Produce high quality analysis (regular or ad-hoc) for stakeholders/client
Support project implementation across the account, to assess the impact of change on systems data and existing reporting mechanisms
Lead data related projects on account
Work closely with the ISS Business Insights team to manage the production, and distribution of all contract performance information reports in line with contractual timetable

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Experience working in a reporting or analytical role
Expert user of Office 365 (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
Passion for communicating data and visual story telling
Proficient in the use of reporting tools – particularly PowerBI. A good understanding and awareness of Tableau would also be an advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (Written and Verbal)
Able to deliver consistently high-quality work to deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
Able to confidently interact at all levels and promote collaboration
Problem solver and able to make key decisions with support as required
Degree (or equivalent)
Excellent organisational and planning skills essential
