Senior Frontend Developer – JavaScript, React, TypeScript GraphQL - London - Miller Maxwell is assisting an International proprietary trading organisation seeking to expand their UI team. This senior position will see the successful Senior Frontend Developer working directly with front-office users to build customised UIs in a fast-paced, live trading environment. The team in place is a mix of Full Stack Engineers and UI Software Engineers, this hire will take have the freedom to lead projects and take ownership of some very exciting green-field development projects starting in 2025. This team approaches tech and mathematical problems with a unique perspective, consistently pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Frontend Developer :

Collaborate with an experienced front-office team to enhance their quantitative trading platform, focusing on front-end development.
Build user interfaces for front-office users.
Implement, modify, and configure platform improvements.
Work closely with Java and C++ Software Engineers to design new platform features.

Requirements for the Senior Frontend Developer:

Experience in a FinTech or Financial Services environment.
Experience building UI's in a front-office or for electronic trading screens/users.
A degree in a STEM-related subject.
At least six years of commercial frontend development experience.
Proven experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
Proficiency in Redux, HTML, and CSS.
GraphQL experience.
Demonstrable experience in building large-scale, data-driven platforms.
