Job Summary
The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death. Utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey. Accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with the current policies and procedures. The NH Community Care Cruiser provides no-charge health services to low-income individuals, people without health insurance, and members of our community to achieve health equity.

Qualifications
Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, Nursing required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, Nursing preferred.
Experience:
One year experience in nursing and relative experience for community engagement, required.
One year Experience in pediatric nursing care and knowledge of school immunization schedule, preferred.
Three years experience in nursing supervision, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: RN License, required.
Additional Skills (required):
Education and training: continuing education related to work duties, maintain competency with up to-date school vaccine administration
Knowledge and use of state vaccine database North Carolina Immunization Registry (NCIR)
Knowledge of school vaccination schedule per North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS)
Ability to lead and supervise a resilient, dynamic team providing a safe, high quality patient experience in every dimension, every time
