People Service Desk Lead

At Oasis, we’re looking to create a brand new HR Delivery team which puts exceptional customer service front and centre, so this is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced HR Delivery/People Services team lead to help shape and create this new support service in our UK wide organisation. We’re creating a new People Service Desk team as part of our mission to deliver an ever-improving support HR service to our network of 53 schools that is educating over 25,000 young people across the UK every week. As the People Service Desk Lead , you’ll be a vital member of this team, building upon your previous HR Shared Service experience to oversee the delivery of an effective 1st line HR support service to our large Multi-Academy Trust operation. This is an opportunity to impact the evolution of a new team, but also to be part of an organisation that is playing a fundamentally key role in local communities across the UK.

What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Head of People Services you will
• Lead, mentor and develop the People Services Desk team
• Ensure accurate and timely case management and query resolution,
• Ensure the highest quality standards for your team,
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
What we’re looking for
As you would expect, we’re looking for our People Service Desk team to deliver an exceptional customer experience, so as the lead you’ll be expected to display a proactive, accountable, problem solving and customer centred approach and be able to evidence:
• Previous experience in a supervisory role in HR shared services or an HR support desk with the proven ability to lead, motivate, organise and develop a high-performing team.
• The management of telephony services and HR case management systems, including developing and managing SLAs and KPIs and reporting on performance metrics.
• A strong background in stakeholder management and handling escalations
• Strong HRIS, reporting and analytical skills (knowledge of ITrent and Microsoft Dynamics could be advantageous)
