The role
The firm is looking for a proactive, personable, and relationship-driven HR Assistant to support their brilliant London HR team in a hands-on and fast-paced role.
The HR Assistant will provide administrative support and support for the day-to-day operations of the HR department.
Some key duties include:
- Supervise the HR team inbox and triage initial queries or help where possible.
- Manage all HR filing and archiving.
- Maintain the e-files and regularly update the HR Guidebook.
- Prepare general standard correspondence for members of the team, e.g. letters, references.
- Ownership of the weekly movement sheet reporting, chair weekly meetings with the HR team to discuss/finalise any changes and circulate to other support teams.
- Maintain all key spreadsheets for the team, including department structure charts, maternity, and secondment spreadsheets.
- “Super-user” of the HR system (Workday), including new joiners, leavers, and changes. Run reports from Workday both for the team and other departments when necessary. Act as primary contact within the team for any queries or problems. Liaise with HR Systems in relation to any issues.
What do you need?
- Previous HR administration experience, ideally gained within a law firm environment.
- Knowledge of a HRIS, ideally Workday.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels.
