Overview
Established software firm has a growth position for a Technical Presales Consultant. You will take charge of presenting and demonstrating Pillar 2 software solutions as well as serve as a key connection point between prospective clients, product teams, and implementation teams. You will work closely to with clients, identify pain points and provide actionable feedback to the product team to enhance solution appeal.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations, including both standard offerings and customized proof of concepts, to prospects, clients, and partners.
- Collaborate with product teams to gain a deep understanding of solutions, enabling effective communication of benefits to customers.
- Provide feedback on product features, user behaviour, and suggested enhancements based on client interactions and market insights.
- Conduct comprehensive industry research, including competitor analysis and exploration of emerging trends. Identify new markets and potential use cases for the platform, aligning opportunities with product capabilities. Based on this research, create new use cases on the platform to address identified needs.
- Act as a critical liaison between sales, marketing, implementation, and product teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
- Demonstrate new platform features to internal teams, focusing on how these features can enhance client outcomes and drive upsell opportunities. Additionally, train service teams on the requirements and implementation of new use cases to ensure readiness and success.
Qualifications
- A background in accounting, taxation, or a related field is essential , along with a basic understanding of accounting principles, regulatory issues, and tax systems.
- Familiarity with SQL and the ability to think logically to develop technical solutions are important.
- Troubleshooting skills for addressing technical issues are also required.
