Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of security engineers in identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities across our IT environment.
- Develop and implement automated solutions using Python, PowerShell, or SQL to streamline vulnerability detection and remediation workflows.
- Manage and improve vulnerability scanning tools, ensuring continuous monitoring and timely reporting on vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize vulnerabilities and ensure rapid patching and resolution.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into the vulnerability landscape and risk posture.
- Stay current on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends, implementing proactive measures to keep our systems secure.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering with a focus on vulnerability management.
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS) and patch management processes.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using Python , PowerShell , and SQL to streamline security operations.
- Proven experience leading or managing a security team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex security issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across teams.
