The International Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing the organisation’s marketing and communication activities and helping direct delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the International People Solutions business through regional and local marketing leads, strengthening market presence and making a difference in the Employee Benefits market.
This role will collaborate closely with the regional leaders of the People Solutions businesses, identifying opportunities to leverage marketing strategies to improve our ability to win new clients and enhance customer experiences. The role requires a solid understanding of the employee benefits landscape, a strategic vision for marketing application, and hands-on work to elevate the company’s related capabilities on a global scale.
The goal is to elevate the organisation’s mission and value to clients, increase engagement, enhance the communication of the value proposition, effectively target members, clients, and prospects, use segmentation, and analyse results from all marketing and communication strategies.
Key Tasks & Duties
This role requires a hands on strategic thinker with deep expertise in marketing and communications, and a passion for leveraging related strategies, methodologies and tools to improve client delivery and experience, external and internal awareness, with the view to support business growth.
Strategy:
- Partner with Lockton global Marketing organisation and the US People Solutions Marketing Director to develop and implement suitable Marketing and Communications strategies for the organisation.
- Through collaboration with regional leads, drive development and deployment of advanced marketing and communications strategies and initiatives that provide actionable outcomes, ensuring consistency in delivery. This will apply to both internally for effective business strategy/management and externally for elevated client experience wherever possible.
- Act as the “go to” expert, providing direction and support to ensure marketing objectives are successfully implemented by the regional and country marketing teams.
- Implementation of the Brand and Marketing strategy for new and existing products: including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR, etc.
- Supporting the pursuit of strategic initiatives that are executed locally but would benefit from improved collaboration.
- Coach, grow, mentor, and cooperate with a small high-performing group of marketing and communications professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments, including PS business leaders, operations, legal & compliance, IT, digital, production, consulting, data analytics, to ensure alignment and integration of Marketing and Communication initiatives with the broader Lockton business.
Communication:
- Manage the organization’s brand, ensuring strong and consistent marketing messaging across all regions, operations, and channels to build awareness and demand for our products and services that will reinforce its unique value propositions to our target audiences.
- Managing and facilitating communications across International regions in a consistent and regular manner
- Facilitate thought leadership, and programs to improve reputation and recognition.
- Creating, supporting and hosting quarterly Town Halls on Teams
Work with business leaders to determine content agenda
Identify and coordinate speakers
Support the development of any required visual aids
Promote and support events, forums and similar opportunities
- Coordinating recurring calls with People Solutions business leaders and marketing teams across all global regions
- Cascade communication across Lockton’s internal digital ecosystem
Knowledge Management
- Improving and managing intranet groups and knowledge libraries to improve the knowledge sharing both within and across Lockton’s global regions, and replicate best practices across the world
- Coordinate more regular posts to the International People Solutions teams and associates
- Complete the construction of the People Solutions Knowledge Library “umbrella” that connects all domestic-specific People Solutions knowledge libraries.
- Work with all regions to improve the functionality and usage of People Solutions knowledge libraries.
Business Growth:
- Working closely with product management and production teams to define marketing materials and programs.
- Enabling Production teams to meet their goals by delivering Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and providing them marketing support through materials, resources, tools, etc.
Performance Metrics:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Information Management Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong experience in marketing and communications roles, at a regional or global level, including experience in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience in the health insurance and employee benefits sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to inspire others with the vision and direction.
- Excellent collaboration skills, able to influence and guide in the absence of direct responsibility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team that would include collaboration with IT support and company’s marketing teams
- Ability to be self-motivated

- Flexibility to work across different time zones, as needed.
