The Company:
My client looking for an energetic and results-oriented Sales Leader to spearhead the growth and development of our sales team within the rapidly expanding HCP (Healthcare Professional) engagement solutions market across Europe. This role offers the chance to become part of a progressive organization providing cutting-edge solutions to the life sciences industry.
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in consultative, relationship-focused B2B sales, particularly with pharmaceutical clients at the EMEA or global level. They will also demonstrate strong leadership skills in building and managing high-performing sales teams, with a focus on achieving substantial revenue expansion.
The Role:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy focused on company goals, target markets, and growth opportunities, while collaborating on pricing, messaging, and go-to-market alignment.
- Drive new business development and adapt the sales approach to evolving products, technologies, markets, and competitive challenges.
- Lead and support a team of 5–10 sales professionals through hiring, training, motivating, and fostering career growth while ensuring accountability for performance metrics.
- Enhance sales success by providing training programs, preparing sales support materials, assisting with complex deals, and collaborating with HR on recruitment and retention strategies.
- Drive sales growth by meeting revenue targets, expanding the client base, and leveraging market insights to identify opportunities for upselling and strategic partnerships.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in life sciences, consumer health, and medical device companies, while representing the company at events, advising clients, and ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Optimise sales processes with digital tools and AI, ensure seamless project execution through team collaboration, and deliver performance reports and market insights to leadership.
Key Requirement:
- Over 8 years in international B2B sales within the European market, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity, ideally in healthcare or life sciences.
- Proven success in recruiting, scaling, and managing high-performing consultative sales teams of 10+ professionals.
- Deep understanding of HCP engagement solutions or experience selling data-driven projects to life sciences organizations.
- A strong track record of exceeding revenue targets, driving substantial business growth, and closing high-value deals.
- Exceptional skills in strategic planning, negotiation, and relationship management, with fluency in English and a relevant bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is advantageous.
