Bid Manager (Public Sector) – Property Services
Location: Based at Head Office in Northeast London with flexible/agile working options available
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bid Manager to oversee the end-to-end bid process for a well-established property services group. This role involves working closely with senior leadership to manage high-value opportunities across a range of refurbishment, maintenance, and compliance (M&E) services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the entire bid lifecycle, from PQQ to ITT and contract award.
- Researching and understanding contract requirements to improve bid submissions, presentations, and client interviews.
- Supporting the governance and management of bid procedures and processes.
- Working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, highly networked role.
About You
You are a creative and driven Bid Manager or Bid Writer with a proven track record of delivering successful, multi-million-pound tenders. You possess excellent presentation skills, the ability to manage complex opportunities, and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at senior levels.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in bid management and tender writing, ideally within the Social Housing or Local Authority sector.
- Strong capability in opportunity qualification, strategy development, and solution design.
- Exceptional relationship-building and networking skills, including attending events and client meetings.
- A thorough understanding of the competitive landscape and marketplace.
- Comfortable working at CEO/Director level internally and externally.
