Campaigns and Coalition Manager
ABOUT TOGETHER;
/together is one of the most powerful and diverse coalitions in the UK. The Steering Group includes a broad range of organisations and individuals from the NHS and ITV, to the Scouts, UK Sport, and TikTok.
We aim to help build kinder, closer, and more connected communities. The /together coalition is coordinated by a small charity called The Together Initiative.
/together created The Big Help Out in 2023 – a campaign which formed part of the King’s Coronation and encouraged communities to get involved in volunteering. 7.2 million people got involved in 2023, and a further 6.5 million people got involved again in 2024.
As well as building large mass participation campaigns aimed at fostering social connection, we also work to counter risks to community cohesion – including the development of messaging and community activations in response to issues such as rising antisemitism and anti-Muslim hate. We’ve worked with a range of different partners to create and support bespoke campaigns in response to emerging issues, such as our Together for Humanity campaign, and our response to the August riots across the UK.
Our team also works to influence policy relating to community connection and cohesion – working closely with policymakers and a wide range of organisations across civil society.
