Platform Engineer

The Opportunity:
The UK’s leading Tech Consultancy seeks an influential AWS Platform Engineer to support the build and deployment of CI/CD pipelines, leveraging DevOps automation to shape the design of critical components for high-impact Public Sector Programmes.
Key Requirements:
- Recent Public Sector project experience - holding active SC Clearance
- Expertise in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Proven experience debugging complex, multi-server services in high-availability production environments.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Concourse, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and version control systems like Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Graphite, Grafana, ELK, Prometheus).
- Database experience with SQL and NoSQL systems.
- Hands-on experience with HashiCorp tools (Packer, Terraform, Vault, Consul).
- Ability to provide technical leadership, guiding projects and mentoring team members.
Benefits Package:
- Base salary: Up to £100,000 (DoE)
- Annual Bonus: 10%
