We are looking for an experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to work with us on building our business to the next level, generating new accounts for us across sectors, supporting our B2C/B2B sales pipeline and managing existing commercial accounts and partnerships.
You will have the opportunity to work with some of the most successful interior designers, architects, influencers as well as work with us on opening up new geographical territories as we look to expand into Europe, the Americas and beyond over the next 2-3 years.
Business Development:
— Identifying through focused outreach new distribution partners based on a sales and distribution plan in line with the overall YesColours production and sales forecast. — Researching businesses, individuals and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to serve existing clients better.
— Executing a planned and considered outreach of new customers and clients across multiple channels which include digital, events and social media.
Account Management:
— Manage the ongoing relationships and offer sales support to retail, wholesale accounts that you will be acquiring. This will entail regular business reviews in order to measure ongoing performance and daily account administration whilst we develop our broader internal team.
Sales Promotion:
— Identify and propose to senior management the plan for promotional activity with retail, trade and e-commerce customers to incentivise focused support, endorsement and encourage increased sales through to the end consumer.
Sales Analysis:
— Working with senior management to create a sales reporting process to track daily sales activity that can be used with the Founders to monitor and plan for continued growth.
Forecasting:
— Supporting the senior management team to build out a sales plan and pipeline in line with the overall YesColours strategic plan.
Future growth strategy and planning:
— Working with senior management to identify, strategise and deliver key growth opportunities (retail, territory expansion, brand licensing, collaborations, products and services)
General responsibilities
— Work closely with the marketing and social media team to grow our B2B/B2C proposition and help build awareness and engagement for the brand through our trade customer community.
— Act as the champion for commercial delivery and support the founders with sales knowledge and expertise in order to help shape the strategic direction for YesColours.
— Support the Founders and the marketing team where required in the broader promotion and growth of YesColours.. E.g., at industry, consumer and investor events.
— Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor strategy and performance.
— Act as an Ambassador for the brand.
Skills and Experience
— 2-3 years working in a customer focussed sales/business development team.
— Experience of working with branded products in the direct consumer space is desirable and/or working in paint distribution or home improvement.
— Able to demonstrate a commercial mindset with experience of account management and channel development.
— Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships both externally and internally.
— Comfortable with working in a dynamic environment often with a lot of ambiguity and change.
— Can work autonomously with a self-starter mindset and attitude.
— A keen interest in the lifestyle and interior design sector is key and experience in specifically the paint sector is desirable but not essential.
Salary
£40-50k + OTE and attractive bonus scheme.
Hybrid working/London focused.
