KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As the Assistant Manager of our London Flagship boutique reporting to the Boutique Manager, this role will support and ensure efficiency of daily operations to be competitive and meet profit and growth objectives.
Responsibilities are to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the boutique, delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction and experience, while aiming to ensure the sales budgets are achieved both in terms of revenue and costings. The Assistant Manager will also look to seek new clients and increase the customer database, through networking, boutique events and working with local businesses in the area.
You must exude a passion for Bremont and always be a true ambassador of the brand, particularly at key events and presentations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Boutique Manager and Regional Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers.
- Propose marketing initiatives for the boutique to drive brand awareness, increase footfall and sales, to the Boutique Manager
- Support to establish brand and boutique presence in the market, propose local events through continuous networking, capture and increase market share through community outreach.
- Ensure operations and administration adhere to company policy and expectations, while consistently improving the functioning of the Boutique.
- Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g., sales processes, orders and payments).
- Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives.
- Monitor and maintain store inventory, ensuring monthly stock takes are processed and investigating any discrepancies immediately.
- Support in evaluating employee performance and identify training needs.
- Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
- Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates to maintain Bremont standards regarding new and existing products.
- Oversee and maintain use of your team’s client books via the brand CRM system growing relationships with existing and new clients.
- Take pride in the boutique with visual standards and merchandising guidelines, ensuring the boutique is in perfect condition to match the quality of our product.
- Communicate to the team information on new releases ensuring the product is launched as effectively as possible.
- Receive and distribute service/repair watches – liaise with Service Operations team to ensure customers are given an excellent customer experience and follow up throughout this process.
- Create reports, analyse and interpret retail data, like revenues, productivity and conversion.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the store is functionable and presentable.
- Act as our boutiques representative and set an example for our staff.
- Host and manage the team at events internally and externally.
- Develop and maintain high-level key customer relationships to increase sales opportunities and satisfy customer needs.
- Use all computer-related tools available to increase the efficiency of the day to day processes.
- Ensure compliance for GDPR Data protection requirements and adhere to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information held.
- Act as an ambassador exuding Bremont’s DNA and build direct contact with VIP’s
- Receive and distribute service/repair watches – liaise with Service Operations team to ensure
- Actively participate in training opportunities. Identify potential areas for self-growth within the company and share this with the Boutique Manager
- Collaborate with key stakeholders with the goal of building client leads, relationships and conversion.
- Organisation and time management skills, ensuring client leads are dealt with promptly and efficiently to convert them into sales . Support the boutique manager and wider team to deliver a best-in-class client experience, embody and exemplify Bremont values, to retain and increase customer loyalty.
- Maintain relationships with current clients through regular contact to ensure satisfaction with company services.
- Manage and oversee all touch points and communication for the boutique, with a key focus to drive customer sales and increase conversion rates.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Proven experience as a Retail Assistant Manager or similar position.
- Familiarity with customer service principles.
- An innovative and creative thinker who is results driven.
- Proven success of working in a fast-paced and changing environment, who delivers against objectives.
- Proven experience in luxury retail experience is desirable.
- Independently motivated along with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communicator.
- Strong relationship builder and networker.
- Ability to create and motivate a team and work collaboratively with all areas of the business.
- Extensive IT skills, with experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (minimum intermediate Excel)

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Standard weekly working hours are 40
- Shop opening hours are Monday – Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-5pm
- This role works autonomously, in line with regional manager, boutique manager and sales associates
- Probation process 4 months standard
