Job DescriptionYour CareerThe Director of Revenue Operations is a key Palo Alto Networks accounting team member. This individual will report to the VP of Revenue Operations, lead Palo Alto Networks’ key revenue accounting and operations areas, and be a strategic business partner who advises on the direction of the business, operational improvements and executes operational excellence. This individual will also provide leadership in developing effective financial reporting to ensure the financial integrity of revenue.He or she will serve as a key confidante and trusted advisor to the VP of Revenue Operations and CAO of Palo Alto Networks on revenue accounting and related financial control matters. He or she will be a strong communicator with responsibility for educating the senior leadership team on important revenue issues. The individual we seek is intelligent, agile, pragmatic, hard working and a quick thinker. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing revenue close accounting activities, leading projects, developing new processes and improving the month-end revenue close process. He or she brings a compelling track record of delivering shareholder value as a senior accounting leader in a complex, public organization. They work closely with other departments, such as IT, FP&A, sales operations, legal, investor relations, product development to ensure timely and accurate reporting. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $192000 - $264500/YR.
