Job Description: Junior Trader

As we enter the next stage of our development, following years of impressive growth and success, we are seeking a talented and motivated Structuring/Trading Associate to join our team and contribute to the continued expansion of our business. This is a front-office role.
You will work closely with a highly experienced cross-asset team specializing in structured products, ranging from autocallables to credit-linked notes. The role primarily involves pricing complex derivative products and supporting business growth initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure to the derivatives market, including pricing, trading, and marketing. Depending on your interests, there is potential for specialization in structuring or trading at a later stage.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor post-trade activities in primary and secondary markets.
- Market-making for exchange-listed structured products.
- Generate new trade ideas for the Sales team.
- Price cross-asset solutions and structured products.
- Hedge and manage the lifecycle of products issued through our proprietary issuance vehicle.
- Develop new proprietary indices, including thematic baskets, systematic strategies, and ESG-focused solutions.
- Implement new tools for pricing automation and basket optimization.
- Ensure effective collaboration with other teams, including Quants, Legal, and Operations.
Candidate Profile:
- Exceptional academic record, ideally a Master’s degree in Financial Markets, Quantitative Finance, or Mathematics.
- Knowledge of derivatives and associated mathematical concepts (preferred but not mandatory).
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Strong IT skills, including Excel, VBA, Python, or experience with other programming languages.
- Fluency in French or Italian is a plus.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp and apply new financial concepts effectively.
- Capable of working under pressure, managing tight deadlines, and prioritizing competing demands.
- Confident and personable, able to build relationships with a diverse range of colleagues and clients.
