Role Brief:
The Onyx Research Data Platform organization represents a major investment designed to deliver a step-change in our ability to leverage data, knowledge, and prediction to find new solutions. We are a full-stack team consisting of product and portfolio leadership, data engineering, infrastructure and DevOps, data/metadata/knowledge platforms, and AI/ML and analysis platforms, all geared toward:
- Building a next-generation, metadata- and automation-driven data experience for our scientists, engineers, and decision-makers, increasing productivity and reducing time spent on “data mechanics.”
- Providing best-in-class AI/ML and data analysis environments to accelerate our predictive capabilities and attract top-tier talent.
- Aggressively engineering our data at scale, as one unified asset, to unlock the value of our unique collection of data and predictions in real-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the program of work, quality management systems (QMS), and financial delivery to ensure successful execution of our mission.
- Define, build, and execute internal processes for agile planning and delivery across the entire portfolio.
- Ensure transparent progress reporting to leadership and key partners/stakeholders, raising issues/blockers/misalignments early to prevent major problems.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to ensure best-in-class software delivery and overall ways of working.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud services.
- Proficiency in using Jira for agile project management and tracking.
- Experience with Cubit or similar tools for data management and analysis.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to facilitate collaboration and drive project success.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
