Next Ventures are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Chef Infra, Chef Automate, and Chef Inspec in large-scale environments. You’ll be responsible for coding and managing Inspec baselines and profiles, ensuring infrastructure automation and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Chef Infra, Chef Automate, and Chef Inspec.
- Automate and optimize infrastructure to meet security and compliance standards.
- Integrate IaC solutions into CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with deployments and automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance DevOps practices and implement scalable solutions.
Essential
- Strong expertise in Chef Infra, Chef Automate, and Chef Inspec for large-scale environments.
- Solid experience with Unix/Linux and scripting languages (Ruby, Python, PowerShell, YAML).
- Proven track record of managing and updating IaC configurations and Inspec profiles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with IT automation tools like Ansible, JIRA, and GitHub.
- Ansible Tower/AAP
Financial services background is a huge bonus.
