As a key member of the Executive Leadership team, this position will contribute to decision-making for the overall direction of the company, and provide Information Technology functional support for Corporate directives. As the IT functional leader, this role oversees all technology and information systems globally, ensuring they align with Spellman’s strategic initiatives by delivering value through effective, secure, and innovative solutions. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will manage an international team of Directors and Managers responsible for critical areas within Corporate IT including: Network and System Operations, Security Operations, ERP Systems, Custom Application Development, Information Governance, and IT Project Management. What You Will Do:Team Management:Demonstrate exceptional communication, leadership, and people management skills. Inspire and lead a global, diverse, high-performance, multi-functional team, organized as:Director of Network Operations: Ensures network resilience, manages IT systems, and oversees global IT managers.Director of Security Operations: Leads cybersecurity efforts, implements security measures, and handles incident response.Manages the ERP system (Glovia) for business functions, optimizing and implementing subsystems.Director of Custom Applications Group: Develops custom software applications like ScanStar and PowerBI, enhancing user experience.Senior Manager of Information Security: Maintains security policies, conducts audits, and ensures data integrity and compliance with standards like ISO 27001 and CT-PAT.IT Project Manager: Leads IT projects from inception to completion, managing risks and maintaining alignment with business priorities.Accountable for all people management within IT, including recruiting, training, managing performance, motivating, developing talent and career paths, and succession planning.Functional Leadership:Lead all aspects of Information Technology in Spellman, with focus on supporting key business functions (e.g., manufacturing operations)Oversee IT budget planning and management, ensuring cost-effectiveness and strategic resource allocation.Approve technology purchases and manage major IT contracts to align with business and security needs.Monitor KPIs and project timelines to ensure IT initiatives effectively meet strategic objectives.Foster teamwork and collaboration within and outside the IT department.Strategy and Vision:Analyze complex challenges and develop solution options which align with Strategic Objectives, taking into account risks, benefits, and resource constraints.Stay current and inform Leadership on emerging technologies and trends and competitive in the IT space.Executive Partnership and Collaboration:Act as the IT advisor and business partner to the executive Leadership Team.Drive information-driven strategies for improved performance within the Executive Leadership team.Ensure IT staff establish effective partnerships with business leaders to support each departments’ objectives. Plan, align, and deploy IT resources to support advancement of Corporate Strategic Objectives.Ensure that Global Management is informed and that effective measures are taken to counter emerging security threats.Solid understanding of all IT functional domains, including Infrastructure, Network Operations, Cybersecurity, ERP Systems, Application Development, and Data Governance.Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize ERP systems to support business needs, including the ability to customize applications.Demonstrated ability to collaborate, lead, and participate in cross-functional teams and projects.Demonstrated ability to maintain and modernize robust, dependable and saleable information management systems based on risk/return analysis and continuous improvement in IT practices.Responsible for strategic system modernization based on risk/return analysis and continuous improvement in IT practices.Demonstrated ability to successfully roll-out, train and motivate staff to adopt new IT capabilities.Ability to establish effective security policies and practices that comply with international regulations and security standards (e.g., Demonstrated proficiency with Project Management, including overseeing planning and execution of IT projects, and investment recovery of IT Initiatives.What You Need:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. At minimum 12 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with at least 5 years of experience in a functional leadership position, including people management experience.Practical experience supporting Manufacturing operations is required.
