Reporting to the VP Engineering, the Director of Engineering is responsible for SeatGeek’s cloud infrastructure, the platform on which all of SeatGeek runs. You will be responsible for delivering on a wide range of initiatives to modernize our systems and to be on par with the best in the industry.You will be focused on driving technology upgrades and improvements in performance, reliability, and operability. You will tackle important scale projects as SeatGeek expands into more markets, while also growing the enterprise customer base to hundreds. You will own a roadmap that strives to reach and continue to be at the cutting edge of technology innovation in this domain. The Cloud Infrastructure team also leads SeatGeek’s external technology presence by contributing to the various open-source projects that we use.As a Director and member of the product and engineering leadership team, you will contribute to the development of SeatGeek’s short and long-term strategy, quarterly goals, yearly plans and budgets.
