Most importantly, our EHR Services team will foster a culture of diversity and inclusion and drive innovation for our company and our clients.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Supervise Epic application design, development, maintenance activities of applications under direct purviewCollaborate with end users to design Epic Revenue Cycle workflows by suggesting corrective adjustments or enhancementsDetermine staffing requirements, perform capacity planning for resources and supervise the work of direct reports to ensure that team is functioning effectively and efficientlyServe as a mentor, resource, and primary advisor for all direct reportsProvides technical/clinical workflow guidance including application configuration. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates systems needs to develop recommendations for customersLead all phases (design, build, testing) of medium to large scale Epic projects, including upgrades, full scale implementations, new module implementations and significant optimization initiativesProvide support for application incidents reported through the help desk; including 24/7 on call coverage as requiredManage in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic softwareWork with department representatives to analyze needs and translate these into system designAssist team to translate business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to specifications; prioritize, coordinate, and implement updates and requested changes to the system; reviews and tests each new release; troubleshoots problems and questions from end usersManage and develop solid relationships with end user communities, customers and business partnersFacilitate communication with stakeholders from initial requirements to final implementationYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Two or more current Epic certifications in the following areas: Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Prelude, Cadence, Grand CentralCompleted Epic CEE (Continued Epic Education) to maintain certifications, proficiencies, and badges7+ years combined experience across HealthCare and/or IT domains with at least 5+ years working with Epic configuration and 2+ years of resource management and/or large-scale project management7+ years of experience configuring and supporting revenue cycle workflows including claims, cash posting, customer service, vendor management, denial management, HIM, registration, scheduling, insurance verification, authorization and facility structureProven excellent team management, communication and leadership skills and a commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion and a culture of innovationProficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePointPreferred Qualifications:Certification in Service Management, Project Management, or Business AnalysisRevenue Cycle experience and certifications are preferred in addition to the certifications listed aboveAll employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
