Financial Controller - FS Client - Must have FS experience - London
A Financial Controller is required to join a FS client in London. This person will be responsible for the Finance control and accounting for the holding company and preparation of consolidated reporting as well as overseeing the business’s day-to-day financial operations.
Experience: Minimum 3 year of accounting experience in financial services. Involvement in consolidation. Having at least Big 4 large public accounting and auditing firms background is a plus.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Partial accounting qualification, good understanding of IFRS
- Good understanding of financial consolidation process
- Enhanced MS Excel knowledge • High ethical standards and professionalism
- Analytic skills: ability to work in a very dynamic environment
Preferred
- Master’s degree
- Accounting qualification, CIMA • Experience of producing consolidated annual reports • VBA, MS Access, Power BI, Power Query; ability to automate basic processes • Leadership and Communication skills • Presentation skills, experience in reporting to the shareholder
