About the Role
As a Senior / Lead Data Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s data strategy and infrastructure. Working closely with leadership and managing one Data Analyst, you’ll design and implement scalable data solutions that underpin the company’s ambitious goals. This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibilities , perfect for a seasoned engineer looking to step into a leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Architecture & Platform Development : Build and optimize a scalable data platform using GCP or AWS technologies.
- ETL Pipelines : Design and develop efficient ETL processes to support data analytics and reporting.
- Data Governance & Quality : Ensure data reliability, security, and compliance with governance standards.
- Reporting & Insights : Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights through data visualization tools.
- Leadership : Manage and mentor a Data Analyst while contributing to the broader data strategy.
What They’re Looking For
- Technical Expertise : Strong experience with the GCP data stack (BigQuery, Looker, etc.) or equivalent AWS solutions.
- Some financial services or insurance experience (Corporate/Enterprise level or Start Up Experience is fine!)

- ETL & Data Engineering : Proven experience building and optimizing ETL pipelines and data models.
