Probation period: 4 months
Working schedule: In office from London Bridge studio Mon - Fri. The role requires occasional travel for project meetings with overnight stays, and all expenses will be covered accordingly. Hybrid working is not available due to variable in-person workshop requirements
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Digital Transformation (DT) Consultant to join our growing team. This role combines strategic consultancy, technical expertise, and project leadership with a focus on leading transformative projects in collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong consultancy mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and an aptitude for managing complex projects across various AEC disciplines.
As a Senior DT Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating live workshops utilising new and emerging technology and delivering live demonstrations to prospective clients and stakeholders. You will excel in building and managing client relationships, delivering insights in real-time discussions, and contributing to high-level decision-making processes.
A key requirement for this role is working experience and proficiency with Revit and
familiarity with standard BIM processes and workflows aligned with ISO 19650. You may need to undertake a Revit test as part of the interview process to confirm your abilities.
Additionally, working knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper is highly desirable alongside basic knowledge of MicroStation, SketchUp, Navisworks, 3DS Max and any GIS software packages and general workflows is also desirable but not essential.
If not known already, Unreal Engine 5 will be taught as part of the onboarding as this forms an integral part of the services being delivered by the Digital Transformation department,

Key requirements summary -
- AEC background with 5+ years experience covering commercial real estate and residential through RIBA 1-5
- Good general understanding of RIBA stages, planning/development process and legislative frameworks (offices, residential, building regulations etc)
- Proficiency in Revit at the required level we set and ability to demonstrate accordingly during the interview process
- Ability and willingness to run workshops using software live in front of clients, collaborators and stakeholders
- Ability to scope and estimate technical project work requirements then program and lead to delivery
- Be confident, knowledgeable and professional with senior clients and stakeholders in person
- Excellent verbal and written communication and senior stakeholder management skills essential

- Key Revit requirements include but not limited to:
- in-depth understanding of how the core design team disciplines use the software (e.g. architecture, structures, MEP, landscaping etc);
- understanding of BIM processes, standard documentation and conventions (naming and otherwise)
- ability to extract, log, filter and manipulate key relevant information from consultant models (using filters, phasing, work sets, object and view-based visibility controls, relevant metadata or schedules, version control etc).
- ability to intelligently review and validate information with the relevant disciplines (i.e. asking the right questions)
- working knowledge of Dynamo as a supplement to the above purposes desirable, but not a requirement
As a Senior DT Consultant, your roles and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Consultancy acumen, Live Facilitation and Client Management
- Facilitate live meetings, development workshops and demos;
- Demonstrate ability to present and perform in front of an audience, keep pace with the discussion to maximise value/insights and hold yourself in the room in front of senior stakeholders;
- Demonstrate and develop a consultancy mindset:
- Ability to develop strong client relationships and create opportunities to sell own time to clients on an advisory/consultancy basis;
- Always be an active contributor in the room - identify value points and advise in (whether explicitly requested or not)
- Develop relationships with clients, architects and external parties/future digital collaborators;
- Deploy best practice communication; Our approach is (in order): face-to-face, then phone, then e-mail;
- Supporting BD activities; inc live demonstrations
- Production and Project Leadership
- Undertake the Production Lead role on Digital Transformation (DT) projects (including ones interfacing with our sister company MaxQ), including:
- Overall responsibility and control of the delivery of the project against the deal agreed with the client and the associated creative proposal; Propose and agree with Project Lead and Art Director how the delivery of the project will be approached;
- Producing and managing the project programme and task allocation based on key milestones and deliverables. Be able to report to Project Lead on state of the project at any time;
- Managing the resourcing and time spent on the project and keep the project performance on track (against agreed day rates); Liaise with Resource Manager to ensure suitable resource is assigned to the appropriate tasks;
- Coordinating the flow of information from external stakeholders (models, drawings and supporting documentation);
- Escalating and resolving with Project Lead any changes impacting project scope (the original deal) and/or project performance;
- Identifying issues and propose solutions, utilising wider department and cross-department expertise where necessary;
- Proactively liaise with external consultants, arranging calls, meetings and reviews to ensure clarity of interpretation of all information exchanged;
- Setting up and coordinating review meetings with clients and senior stakeholders. Capturing and agreeing feedback in a structured manner and actioning against it with the production team and the project programme;
- Handling the project scopes, estimates and quotations alongside the Project Lead and Project Manager.
- Industry knowledge, Technical and Creative
- Deploy industry knowledge from past experience in delivering buildings/masterplans as part of the design team; Advise on/research architectural matters as required to support products/services developed and deployed on projects;
- Interrogate, manipulate and export design team information from AEC authoring applications, including Revit, Rhino, Sketchup & 3DS Max:
- Modify Revit models to support project functionality requirements (e.g. model splits) and pipeline processes (e.g. metadata ingestion), utilising edits to phasing, design options, work sets, view settings, view filters, linked models etc, as required;
- Modify Revit/Rhino/Sketchup models received from design team members to extract information to support project objectives (e.g. splitting models and extracting components for workshopping purposes)
- Use AEC authoring applications (Revit/Rhino/Sketchup) to produce content to support projects (e.g. interior and landscape design mock-ups and optioneering)
- Undertake production tasks for UE 5-based scenes for Live workshopping (including VR) or Applications deployment (in-person presentations, online and on-prem), including good working knowledge of UE scene structures, assets, textures, blueprints and sequences;
- Proactively expanding own technical knowledge in a self-driven manner; Researching methodologies, software and tools and actively seeking to improve skillset (as relevant to the evolving project challenges);
- Actively QA and validate information and be able to address accuracy-based queries on projects (including with regards to external information as well as information produced with our own ecosystem of tools)
- A solid creative base is required although it is noted that the role is more technically focused;
- Seek and initiate artistic critique of own work and take feedback on board;
- Display confidence in own artistic judgement and seek to continuously improve it;
- Productisation, Product Development and Process
- Work closely with Senior Technical Artist on:
- Solution scoping and liaison with UE developer team to ideate and create tools and functionality to support projects;
- Maximising productisation opportunities on all projects;
- Maximising opportunities to grow our library assets when undertaking the Production Lead role on projects; approach all artistic output with a ‘library-first’ attitude;
- Setting up and deploying data pipelines and workflows with regards to converting, positioning, cleaning, organising and coordinating data flow into the project scenes. This includes: 3D models, drawings, images and materials produced by architects, engineers, landscape designers and others as necessary;
- Recording and standardisation of processes across projects & incorporating lessons learned
- Conducting testing, deployment and client support on projects (online and on-prem as relevant)

- Support and mentor more junior employees and/or ones less experienced in the respective areas of production and meeting facilitation
