We have partnered with a leading crypto market maker / prop trading firm who were established over 10 years ago and are a major liquidity provider on numerous centralised and decentralised exchanges.
They are currently hiring for a Senior Linux Systems Engineer to join them in London to manage a small team who are responsible for monitoring, supporting and optimising their core systems. We are looking for someone with strong experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux environments (both on-prem and cloud), scripting using Bash or Python and experience designing IT infrastructure & identifying new technologies for new business iniatives.
Base salary £70-90k + competitive performance bonus
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to end-users
- Overall responsibility for hardware & software (incl procurement, upgrades and maintenance)
- Drive automation workflows
- Organisational IT infrastructure design
Requirements:
- Degree in computing related subject or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience
- Expertise in Linux engineering & administration
- Experience leading small teams (2+ people)
- Experience with cloud computing (AWS ideally)
- Experienced with Bash or Python scripting
