The Job:
They are on the search for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support their rapidly growing new business and client acquisition team. This role is perfect for those who thrive in the vibrant environment of a start-up, excel under tight deadlines, adapt seamlessly to change, and manage multiple tasks effortlessly.
As the Business Development Representative, you will identify new business opportunities, discover new prospects across their key markets, and schedule meetings for their growing sales team. You will collaborate with their Sales teams and support in the closing of deals and the growth of revenue across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Researching, qualifying, and engaging new prospects and opportunities.
- Pitching the business and services to relevant prospects.
- Actively building and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospects through networking, industry events, and proactive outbound sales initiatives.
- Collaborating closely with the Marketing and Sales team to identify and convert leads.
- Keeping a pulse on market trends and competitor movements to adapt strategies effectively and maintain a competitive edge.
- Promptly responding to inbound leads as required with accurate and consultative feedback, ensuring a professional first impression.
- Providing weekly reports on outbound activity, conversations, and meetings.
- Maintaining rigorous documentation of all data, project details, and client interactions within the company’s sales systems to support comprehensive reporting and informed decision-making.
- Meeting quotas based on meetings secured and converted leads.
Candidate Requirements:

- Be proficient in MS Office and CRM usage
Desired Experience:
- 12 months’ experience working in a business development role.
- Experience using creative and engaging ways to prospect, generate interest, and secure meetings.
- A proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and effectively execute sales plans.
- Strong communication skills, confident in engaging with clients across various channels.
