We’re hiring a Supplier Assurance Manager to join a dynamic Technical team in a high-profile organisation. You’ll work to ensure suppliers meet the highest standards while fostering continuous improvement across the supply chain.
About the Role
As a Supply Assurance Manager, you’ll:
- Assess and approve food suppliers, maintaining compliance with rigorous standards.
- Conduct supplier audits, risk assessments, and performance evaluations.
- Drive supplier improvement initiatives and manage corrective actions.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration.
- Partner with procurement to elevate the supply base and deliver value.
- Support issue resolution, factory audits, and ongoing supplier assurance processes.
What You’ll Need
Essential:
- Food-related qualification or relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., BRCGS, legislation).
- Proven auditing and risk assessment skills.
- Strong communication and influencing abilities.
- Proficiency with Office 365 and systems like Foods Connected.
- Willingness to travel for supplier visits and audits.
Desirable:
- HACCP Level 4 or VACCP experience.
- Background working with external bodies (auditors, suppliers, customers).
- Broader experience across food industry categories.
