Position Overview This role will be accountable to the Chairman and will work closely with the VP of HR to develop, implement, and manage global human resources policies and programs. The focus will be on aligning HR strategies with business objectives while ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices in employee relations, compensation, benefits, and organizational development.
As a member of the Global Executive Team, the Global Human Resources Director collaborates with senior leadership to align and execute global priorities. This role develops policies, oversees HR and HSE for operating units, and ensures initiatives are effectively implemented. Additionally, the director monitors HR metrics to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership – Aligns HR strategies with global business objectives, partnering with leadership to drive a high-performance culture.
Talent Management & Development – Leads efforts to attract, develop, and retain top talent while ensuring consistent processes for selection, growth, and retention across the organization.
Organizational Capability & HR Operations – Enhances HR efficiency by diagnosing challenges, implementing best practices, and optimizing talent ROI.
HR Administration & Policy Implementation – Oversees HR programs, interprets policies, fosters a positive employee relations environment, and ensures compliance with company goals.
Performance, Training & Development – Directs organizational development, performance management, and employee training programs to support business needs and company culture.
Budget & Advisory Support – Manages HR budgets, provides workforce planning insights, conducts staffing reviews, and offers guidance on work-related matters.
Education & Certification Requirements
Academic Background – A university degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or Behavioral Sciences is required.
Experience – A minimum of 12–15 years of progressive HR leadership experience with a strong track record of performance. Experience in the Manufacturing industry is a must Experience in the Manufacturing industry is a must
Certifications – CHRL designation is required, while CHRE certification is preferred.
