Summary:
The candidate will have experience with both application and infrastructure components required to maintain a hybrid on-prem and cloud infrastructure, and a proven track record of keeping security top of mind.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and implementing cloud-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, and aligning infrastructure solutions with business objectives.
Enercare is embarking on a period of unprecedented technological transformation. In addition to operational tasks, the successful candidate will be working with first and second level support Teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 Support to meet established SLAs for Microsoft 365 platforms, including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Intune, Power Platform, and Power BI
- Provide additional support as needed, including end-to-end resolution and root cause analysis, in collaboration with other functional groups, business units, and vendors.
- Collaborate with End-Users (Office and Front-Line Workers) on any number of issues
- Manage Internal & External Email Configurations, including SMTP Routing, Email Security (DNS – SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and Application Integrations (Graph API, SMTP Relay, Exchange Web Services)
- Administer new & existing SharePoint Online sites and provide technical support & guidance for improvements to Corporate Internet
- Assist with Intune Configurations for Windows 11 and Mobile Devices
- Administer Power BI/Platform landscape, including Power BI/Fabric workspace creation, Power Platform environment creation, access management, licensing recommendations, and data gateways
- Identify & document processes for transition to L1/L2 teams
- Design & implement automations to increase administrative & operational efficiency
- Understand how Infrastructure systems and applications relate to business needs and applications
- Manage Active Directory configurations, such as AD Sites and Services, DNS, DHCP, and
- Delegate permissions to meet identified requirements
- Collaborate with ITSM team to maintain onboarding workflows using Manage Engine
- Monitor Entra ID Connect synchronization and remediate identified issues & conflicts
- Manage Single-Sign-On and other Application integrations via Entra ID (Enterprise Apps / App Registrations)
- Provide technical guidance, advice, and assistance to other members of the team as required, including managed service partners
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and perform system administration & support tasks as required
- Execute deployments & provide support for various Azure services (VMs, App Service, Azure SQL, Azure AI, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary team to build out our cloud infrastructure standards & footprint
- Work with project & development teams to assess technology and hosting requirements for mission critical systems
- Coordinate with Information Security to refresh Entra Conditional Access policies through a device compliance lens
- Ongoing planning & implementation of M365 roadmap feature releases (past, present, and future)
- Plan for & execute large-scale migration of Google Workspace users into Microsoft 365
- Utilize technical knowledge to drive the delivery of scalable & secure cloud resources
- Implement cloud backup methodologies that support the DR policies and procedures of the IT Infrastructure environment
- Implement robust alerting framework & update management for cloud components
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and processes for all implementations & changes
- Help plan & drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-code approach to cloud resource management.
Qualifications:
- University Degree/ College Diploma or equivalent in Computer Science.
- 5+ years working with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, and Google Workspace platforms
- Ability to work independently, lead projects, and negotiate business requirements against technical constraints
- Experience designing Azure-based solutions with a focus on security & governance
- Strong grasp of Microsoft licensing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High-performance team player with an open mind and attitude to explore new technologies, improve efficiency, and embrace change
- Strong grasp of computer & enterprise security
- Proven strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong Technological experience with MDM (Omnissa [VMWare] Workspace One and Microsoft Intune)
- Knowledge in DevOps as a Service methodology, including Infrastructure-as-code best practices
- Proficient in PowerShell, ARM/Bicep (samples welcome!)
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API;
