Job Title: Application Production Support Analyst Location: Montreal, QC , Canada
Duration: 12 Months Contract
The primary purpose of the job is to ensure day-to-day quality of service of live applications to end-users by:
Monitoring production environments
Developing a good understanding of the existing application (functional and technical)
Expert knowledge in SQL
Able to build extended queries and know the SQL keyword, ideally Oracle SQL/ PL-SQL.
Good knowledge in Unix and scripts: know commands to perform health check on a server and able to parse and investigate a log file.
Knowledge of schedulers (Autosys, Control M), DataStage WTX and file transferring (CFT/FTP/MQ) would be an advantage.
At least 1-5 years as Application Production Support.
Team in charge of performing L1/L2 technical issues for major in-house performance and reporting applications.
Render support for global business operational users including AMER operations.
The team covers 6 days a week, rotational shift including coverage from 12pm to 9pm and coverage for Sunday on a rotational basis.
Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience
Good French verbal communication skills are a plus, fluent English communication is a must.
