The Opportunity:
Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Burlington, is seeking a Procurement Analyst who will play a key role in supporting procurement and supply chain initiatives. This position is focused on collecting and maintaining accurate data while preparing internal reports. The role requires cross-functional collaboration to help optimize procurement and supply chain operations, contributing to cost savings and efficiency improvements.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Procurement Activities :
Maintain and track procurement savings, ensuring supporting documentation is accurate and up to date. You will also prepare internal reports and lead meetings when necessary. - Data Analysis :
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and ways to enhance efficiency. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the procurement application, identifying improvements and making recommendations. - Supplier Support :
Provide assistance in resolving issues related to supply, pricing, quality, and delivery with suppliers. Support contract renewals, track performance, and ensure compliance. - Data Management :
Maintain up-to-date pricing files for all materials and ensure accurate internal distribution. Track market data against costs to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. - Internal Collaboration :
Support the supply chain team by identifying opportunities for improvements and projects. Monitor supplier performance, ensure timely issue resolution, and organize samples for supplier evaluations. Assist in the RFQ process by managing communication, documentation, and follow-ups. - Supplier Relations :
Participate in supplier meetings, negotiations, and sourcing initiatives, helping to develop strong relationships that drive results.
