ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY TASKS
The Intermediate Project Engineer is responsible for:
- Supporting the managing of projects and meeting the objectives on time and to the required standards in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management industry within the highly demanding and fast paced Oil and Gas environment.
- Involved in all aspects of engineering for project(s) and will be a point of contact for clients.
- Ensuring team stakeholder satisfaction
- Providing guidance to, and mentoring, junior project engineers.
- Ensuring timely completion of project goals within budget and in accordance with quality standards and customer needs and expectations.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Post-Secondary Education / Designation -
- Degree in Engineering, PEng - Preference for Mechanical Engineers but other disciplines will be considered.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years experience in an EPCM environment.
- 5+ years experience with oil and gas upstream or midstream projects.
- Experience project engineering on all projects, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong Leadership & Management skills.
KNOWLEDGE BASE REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, equipment requirements and specifications.
- Understanding of processes common in the oil and gas industry.
- In depth knowledge of other disciplines and the interface requirements.
- Knowledge of, and ability to comply with, standards and procedures in Tridyne Health & Safety Manual and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
- Understanding of clients’ business and related processes to provide quality solutions quickly and efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
