Looking for a PRN nurse to follow the patient through pre-op, the operating room, and PACU while providing first class care in our upscale surgery suite. Must be proficient at starting IVs, documenting, OR processes (surgical counts, troubleshooting equipment, etc.), and monitoring the patient post operatively. Sterile processing training is not required but will be provided to fulfill the PRN role. Direct patient care experience in these areas are preferred. Most surgery days fall on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Must be COVID-19 vaccinated, licensed, BLS, and ACLS certifiedThe ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians.
Responsibilities
- Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
- Provide care education to patients in person
- Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
- CPR, ACLS, and BCLS Certification
- Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
- Candidate must be able to lift and position patients
